Tomahavk is a Slovenian film production company, founded in 2007 by Rolanda Rebrek and Blaz Kutin. Its goal is to produce high quality short and feature films by new and established directors with original, author’s vision.
In 2008 the company produced Kutin’s first feature film “We’ve Never Been to Venice”, in coproduction with VPK. The film premiered in Competition at Sarajevo Film Festival, and screened at numerous festivals around the world. In 2011 Tomahavk coproduced Kutin’s short film “Warm for This Time of Year” (main producer was Emotionfilm), which also screened in Competition at Sarajevo Film Festival.
